Hotels on Sale at Jetsetter.com
Ink48, a 222-room, boutique-style property is set in NYC's Hell’s Kitchen — close to the restaurants and bars of 9th and 10th Avenues, but boasting unobstructed island-edge views of the Hudson and beyond. What once was a former printing house is now home to a panoramic rooftop lounge, bustling farm-to-table-focused restaurant and contemporary, studio apartment-style guestrooms. Though Ink48’s sleek style is key (the place was designed by David Rockwell, after all), it’s never at the expense of livability and location. Click here to visit sale.
The Sir Francis Drake in San Francisco evokes an Art Deco era when travel was civilized and the concierge knew your name. With its sweeping staircases and oversized chandeliers, this Union Square spot gives the hip Kimpton aesthetic a lesson in hospitality history. The 416-room property has been in continuous operation since 1928, and it still has lots of star power — its famed doorman, Tom Sweeney, is approaching his 35th anniversary with the hotel and Top Chef star Jen Biesty helms the kitchen at Scala’s Bistro. There’s also Harry Denton’s legendary Starlight Room on the 21st floor, with the best 360-degree views you’ll find in San Francisco. Click here to visit sale.
The Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows, set on the white sandy Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, has a large personality that far exceeds its actual size. With almost 350 rooms, this is a full-service beach resort, complete with two golf courses, an indoor-outdoor spa, beach cabanas, tennis and even a turtle-feeding program. But it’s a modest-size resort by Hawaiian standards, and manages to retain an independent spirit. Built on the site of ancient Hawaiian fishponds, the hotel exudes a sense of authentic island life. Things are intimate here, and guests are all the happier for it. Click here to preview sale.
